HOT WHEELS FAVORITES

REDLINE 1:64th scale Hot Wheels die cast cars were manufactured from 1968 thru 1977. The term "redline" comes from the distinctive redline on real automobile tires during this period. These little cars also had suspension action built in them topped off with gleaming "Spectraflame" paint jobs that make them appear as jewels. The first 1968 production models is referred to as the "Sweet 16" shown here.
